12-Inch Subwoofer Drivers that are Suitable for Enclosures with a Mounting Depth under 6 1/2-Inches
These 12" drivers are best recommended for subwoofer enclosures with a sub mounting clearance of 6.5". If your 12-inch sub box has a depth of less than 6.5-inches then not all of these drivers will fit in your box.
W1-Series 12-Inch 300-Watt Subwoofer Driver, 2-Ohm or 4-Ohm SVC The 12" W1v3 automotive subwoofer driver by JL Audio is a lightweight 12-inch driver with excellent performance capabilities at a moderate 300-Watts. The design of the chassis allows an average mounting depth with no pole-vent on the back side of the magnet so the rear of the motor structure can be placed directly against an enclosure boundary.
