Using expertise gleaned from over five decades of crafting premium car audio products and trickle-down engineering and design from the Ultra Hi-Res AlpineF#1Status system technologies, the Alpine Status system features exceptional tooling and rich build quality for the best possible sound reproduction. Each component was hand-picked from the highest- quality materials for the highest in-class audio performance, that when used as a complete system, can achieve 192kHz/24bit playback.
Drawing inspiration from the AlpineF#1Status system, the HDZ-65 features a unified carbon composite cone construction throughout the speaker components for a unified timbre identity. Alpine Proprietary Double Gathered Edge Surround technology gives the speakers ultra-low distortion and linear diaphragm movement that reproduces music true to the artist’s original intentions.
Custom developed for Hi-Res Audio Playback, the HDZ-65 has an ultra-wide bandwidth of 55Hz-40kHz which is perfectly suited for accurate reproduction of even the highest quality of studio recordings. Each speaker component is designed to cover a wider range of playback spectrum giving the tuner a wider range of adjustability.
The Alpine Status speaker line features two fitments for flexible installation options including a custom-fix model for custom applications and factory-fit models that were intentionally designed to fit into most factory speaker holes without custom work. The HDZ-65 is a factory-fit model that includes a 6.5-inch mid-bass driver and a 1-inch coaxial high-range driver.
The Alpine Status System is sold separately and can be used to build a custom sound system. Three sets of true 4V preamp outputs are included to add additional amplifiers if more power is needed. For best results, install the complete Alpine Status system together as a full system to achieve the highest in-class audio performance only second to the Ultra High-Resolution AlpineF#1System.

The S-Series speakers have a large voice coil. The 6.5-inch and 6x9-inch models have a 35-mm voice coil, and this large voice coil size increases their driving power and control of the motor. The S-Series speakers are the first in the industry to use a material called CFRP (Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic), a very lightweight yet rigid material. On a standard, off-the-shelf oval cone, the edges are naturally weaker than the center due to the elongated shape. Since the CFRP material is directional, it can be manipulated during the molding process to strengthen the areas of the cone that are normally weak. The result is rigidity throughout the cone that delivers accurate and efficient performance. The ability to manipulate the CFRP material during the molding process is currently exclusive to Alpine and the S-Series speakers. Alpine has three patent-pending procedures in support of this innovative manufacturing process.
Alpine’s patented H.A.M.R. (High Amplitude Multi-Roll) surround is now found on the S-Series speakers. This proven technology increases excursion while maintaining accuracy and linearity. These 6.5-inch speakers in the SPV-65X-WRA are tuned specifically for the JK’s in-cabin environment and fit into the factory speaker locations for an easy update that will impress your ears.
The SPV-65X-WRA comes with adapters that allow the speakers to be installed as a component set by mounting the tweeters into the tombstones of older JKs or onto the dash for newer JKs. For older JKs that have a sound bar, the adapters convert the speakers into a coaxial design so they can be installed into the sound bar.

Kicker 40PS69 Manual
6-3/4" 100-Watt Coaxial Speakers
This pair of QS series 6.75" coaxial audiophile speaker drivers by Kicker feature neodymium magnets on the woofer and tweeter, and are bi-amp capable.
Incased within the speaker chassis is you will find a 25mm Teteron® dome tweeter with Kicker's custom wave guide technology for near perfect phase alignment for smooth frequency response. The injection-molded Polypropylene cone of this coaxial door speaker is impregnated with carbon-fiber for tight, accurate midrange. An NBR rubber surround provides superior damping, and complemented by a signature blue double surround stitching.
The independent 18dB crossover has been optimized for size, and features built-in tweeter protection. Utilizing Metallized Polypropylene capacitors, high-powered resistors and audiophile-grade air-core inductors, the crossover delivers outstanding overall sound quality and easy mounting in a door or under a seat.
These Kicker QS 6-and-3/4 inch door speakers have an amplified RMS power range of 100W. This pair of drivers also has speaker adaptor rings, allowing them to be installed using select factory location mounting.
