RD-Series 5-Channel Automotive Amplifier, 70-Watts x 4ch + 500-Watt Mono @ 2-Ohm
Crafted as an all-in-one, total system solution, the RD900/5 is engineered to power a complete audio system consisting of a subwoofer + four satellite system with 900 watts of high-performance sound. Equipped with JL's exclusive NexD™ switching technology, this complete power package efficiently generates a potent 70 watts of crystal-clear audio into 4 ohms, plus a robust 500 watts for a subwoofer system, all from a single compact chassis. Each pair of main channels is also fully bridgeable, stoutly producing 200 watts of full-range audio bliss (into 4 ohms), creating an ultra-powerful 3-channel amplifier.
Conveniently located on top of the RD900/5, you’ll find a complement of studio-grade signal processing features, all hidden beneath a removable protective cover. Each pair of main channels is equipped with a 12 dB / octave high-pass filter, with a dedicated low-pass filter for its subwoofer channel. All three crossovers offer continuously variable frequency selection from 50-500 Hz, for precise filtering. Dual-range, differential-balanced inputs are also onboard, capable of accepting most input voltage levels, plus automatic turn-on capability (via signal sensing or DC-offset sensing) for maximum versatility.
LED clipping indicators are also standard equipment for each channel section. This all-new, innovative feature lets you easily set your amplifier’s input sensitivity settings, quickly and accurately, with no special equipment needed. The RD900/5 features a durable, black powder-coated finish and a top-mounted, dual-color LED light strip that reports the overall status and condition. With the addition of an RBC-1 remote level control (sold separately), you can conveniently control the subwoofer’s output remotely from the driver’s seat.

Accurate Design and High-Level Components, Morel Performance Line Car-Audio Amplifiers
The MPS incorporate fully balanced differential inputs that provide superior noise rejection and can endure up to 20 volts of signal input, allowing even factory speaker-level signal to be accepted through the RCA connections.
High fidelity Texas Instruments OP amps and ultra-low tolerance surface mount components keep the integrity of the audio signal as pure as possible.
Protection and thermal management are managed via an onboard microprocessor, allowing our engineers to design the amplifier without the need for internal fuses that can impede power delivery to the power supply.
The new Morel Performance Series amplifiers were developed with the same passion and product philosophy that lead Morel over the past 45 years. The company’s R&D team worked diligently to engineer the MPS series so they provide a fine balance of built quality, sonic performance and affordability.
As a high fidelity speaker manufacturer, Morel thoroughly recognizes how poorly designed amplifiers and electronics can ruin the performance potential of a speaker system. With this in mind, the engineering directive for the MPS amplifiers was simple— produce a series of amplifiers to be exceptionally musical and dynamic, with clean, uncolored power that can drive speakers to their full sonic potential.
With installers in mind, Morel amplifiers provide a unique feature set and installation-friendly design. Each model uses a single-sided circuit layout with all connections on one side of the amplifier, making installation simple and clean. Preamp tuning and setting options are located discretely under a removable panel at the top of the amplifier.
Each amplifier is also devised to integrate with OEM audio systems directly through the RCA input with an adaptive connector, and auto turn-on via signal sensing or DC turn-off sensing—features usually found in much more expensive amplifiers.
Our choice of mono, four-channel and five-channel amplifier configurations ensure that the MPS amplifiers will cover almost every sound system design. We also provide a two-year warranty for the MPS amplifiers when installed by an authorized Morel dealer.

Engineered specifically for powersports applications, the 4-channel MX500/4 amplifier employs JL's high-speed NexD™ switching design to deliver plenty of clean power, without straining charging systems. Its tiny, cast aluminum chassis is highly resistant to corrosion, with an IPX7 water-resistance rating, making it perfect for motorcycles, ATV’s or other utility vehicles.
Generating a solid 70W x 4 into 4 ohms (14.4V, 1% THD), the MX500/4 is fully bridgeable, so it can be used as a 3-channel amplifier, or as a 2-channel amplifier producing a potent 250W x 2 into 4 ohms.
Other features include independent front and rear crossovers with selectable full-range, high-pass or low-pass filter controls and a dual-range input section that accepts a wide range of input voltage levels, from line-level all the way to high-power speaker level signals.
This amplifier features a black powder-coated finish, a gasketed cover for the controls and stainless steel hardware for durability.
