Ford's crossover delivers an ideal combination of people space and cargo space, without resorting to the bulky packaging of a traditional SUV. This doesn't leave a lot of extra room for a traditional subwoofer solution, though.
The answer to this quandary is JL Audio's completely hidden Stealthbox® which installs behind the passenger side rear cargo panel and is engineered to provide optimal sonic performance thanks to the W3v3 driver it houses. You get to keep all your cargo space and all your people space (even in the third row), but you get to get to have your bass come alive with real JL Audio quality, too.

The forward location and down-firing design of this Stealthbox® deliver amazing “up-front” bass presence and stunning impact.
The Hard Data: Contains one 12W3v3-2 in a sealed enclosure. 500 watt power handling. Wired for 2 ohm mono. Stealthbox® replaces the bottom part of the factory front center seat. In Ram QuadCab models, rear center cup holders need to be removed. Stealthbox® must be covered using cover from the bottom part of the factory front center seat. Additional Note: This box fits directly behind the front console and extends over the rear bench for increased volume. As an added bonus, the top of the box serves as a great armrest for the rear passengers--or mount your amp on top if you like. The box fits perfectly in the space provided and is designed to lock itself into place, but can also be easily moved if needed. This box is a down fire box meaning the sub faces the floor. What this means is that your bass will reflect off the floor for an even greater bass response. There is 2" of clearance between the baffle and the hump, so no worries about your sub contacting the floor. This setup is not only a solid performer but is also very stealthy since the woofer cannot be seen.

These systems are designed to provide powerful, audiophile bass quality without significantly compromising precious cargo space. JL's patented, low-profile thin line subwoofer technology extracts amazing bass from very thin enclosures that bolt solidly above each rear wheel well. Rugged, 100% fiberglass construction is as tough as your Jeep® and sturdy steel-mesh grilles mean you can still toss all your gear in the back without worrying about damage.
Because Jeep® owners customize their vehicles in all kinds of creative ways, the driver side and passenger side Stealthbox® systems are sold individually. A single one is enough for most people to be very happy, but you can go for two if maximum performance is your goal.
The Hard Data: Each system contains one 10TW1 in a sealed enclosure with 300 watt power handling. Each enclosure is wired for 2 or 4-ohms. A steel mesh grille is included with each to protect the Subwoofer. Each enclosure installs above one rear wheel well, with specific models for passenger and driver side. Does not affect hard top installation.
