This stereo installation kit has been engineered to help you install either a 2” tall (Single-DIN) or a 4” tall (Double-DIN) aftermarket radio into the original vehicle dashboard. This dash kit makes radio replacement easier and comes with a pocket that is installed below the 2” radio to fill the extra space in the radio opening, which can be used for storage. The pocket is not needed when installing a 4” tall radio. The dash kit is painted gray to match the original look and feel of the vehicle’s dashboard. Modifications to the sub-dash are necessary to use this dash kit and detailed instructions are included. Installing an aftermarket radio can upgrade the sound quality and provide additional features the original factory radio couldn’t offer but requires this dash kit to make it fit.

2019+ Mustang must have B&O System to be compatible. If the amp looks like the one pictured, it is compatible. The amp can be found in the driver's kick panel. If the system is amplified and not badged then the AP4 is not compatible as this is a completely analog system.

Toyota vehicle must be equipped with a JBL system. There must be an actual visible label that says JBL or JBL Synthesis. If the vehicle is equipped with a factory amplifier but does not say JBL, it is not compatible because the amplifier is analog and not digital.
Lexus vehicles must be equipped with a center channel and a subwoofer in order for the AP4-TY11 to be compatible:
Between 2012-2015 Toyota used two different styles of connectors. In order for the AP4-TY11 to be compatible, the radio must have the 20-pin BHA8113 style connector. Vehicles equipped with the 10 / 6-pin BHA1761 style connector are not compatible. The only way to know what connector the radio has is to physically remove it from the dash and look at it. Please see pictures below for reference

AmpPRO is a Plug-n-Play solution that plugs into the factory radio harness and provides Front/Rear/Sub RCA outputs (5 Volt RMS) to connect to your aftermarket amplifiers. Amplified Vehicles
Compatible with all data-bus controlled amplified systems, no matter the screen size. To identify these systems, look for logos on door speakers, tweeters, dash speakers or the subwoofer to confirm if the vehicle has a compatible amplified system: Alpine, Beats or Harman Kardon. Some vehicles may not always have branded compatible systems. Unbranded amplified systems are generally identified by locating a center channel speaker or subwoofer.
Non-Amplified Vehicles
All other models: Only compatible in vehicles equipped with the 7” or bigger screen. Vehicles equipped with the 5” screen are not compatible.
If you are installing the AmpPRO in a vehicle that is not equipped with a factory amplifier, you must add an amplifier to the vehicle's speakers, as the factory radio will no longer have a 4-channel variable output after it has been re-configured by the AmpPRO. For example, this will not work to add only a subwoofer to a non-amplified vehicle, as the radio will no longer power the cabin speakers properly.
