75W x 4 @ 2Ω

Amplifiers with a Power Output Rating of 75-Watts x 4-Channels, 2-Ohm Final Impedance

Amplifiers with a Power Output Rating of 75-Watts x 4-Channels, 2-Ohm Final Impedance

RMS power: This rating of any amplifier is the continuous power rating that an amp is designed to output at a maximum continued volume rating. The RMS power specification is one of two numbers to go by when pairing your speakers with an amplifier, not the only 2 but a good starting point. As an example, a speaker driver with a 75-Watt, or 75W for short, RMS rating should be paired with a seventy-five-watt RMS amplifier. We usually recommend an amp to be over powered by 10% RMS so that the power-plant does not have to work at 100% capacity to get 100-percent efficiency from your speakers. This will keep your amplifier from overheating during long periods of continuous operation.

Ohms: Is the resistance rating of an amp and is the second most important when pairing drivers with amplifiers. A power-plant that is 75W @ 2-ohm might only be 50-Watts @ 4Ω. When purchasing an amplifier, the correct pairing of a speaker’s RMS wattage and Ohm ratings with an amp’s output power rating is absolutely essential.

The KTA-F30W is perfect for when you want to boost your sound system but don’t have the space for a large amplifier. It is compatible with an aftermarket or factory head unit and adds up to 4 times the power over the head unit's original built-in power. The KTA-30FW features Alpine’s exclusive Dynamic Peak Power (DPP) technology which uses a new dynamic power supply design that delivers bursts of power during rigorous musical passages. When the amplifier senses that more power is required, the power supply quickly increases the internal gain level, effectively doubling the power for a significant increase in dynamic range at high music volumes. Specifications Alpine's Class D amplifier circuit w/ Dynamic Peak Power (DPP) 75W RMS x 4 @ 2Ω/4Ω, 14.4V, ≤ 1% THD+N 150W DPP x 4 @ 2Ω/4Ω, 14.4V, ≤ 1% THD+N >85dB S/N (ref. 1W into 4Ω) >0.1% THD (ref. 1W into 4Ω) 20-20kHz Frequency response (+/-1dB) Weather resistant (IP66 rating) OEM-grade connector wire harness Speaker/RCA inputs (selectable, High range=0.5-10V, Low range=0.2-4V) Sound control: Crossovers – Off/HP/LP, Fc=50-400Hz @ -12dB/Oct.
