JL Audio W7-Series 13.5-Inch 1500-Watt RMS Subwoofer Driver, 1.5-Ohm DVC
The JL Audio 13.5" W7AE audiophile reference grade automotive subwoofer driver offers a staggering linear excursion envelope that exceeds 1.25 inches (32 mm) one-way, with a suspension excursion of over 4-inches, peak-to-peak. The performance from this 13.5-Inch driver is reserved for the most demanding applications. The JL 13W7AE sub is not ideal for light capacity vehicles with small enclosure spaces. In larger capacity vehicles, enclosure limits simply vanish and amazing sub-bass from this 13.5" W7AE driver happens... on all fronts, at any level.
JL's most potent subwoofer driver is best used with an amplifier in the 500W - 1500W RMS range and is optimized to operate in a 1.875 cu. ft. (53.1 l) sealed enclosure, or a 2.375 cu. ft. (67.3 l) ported enclosure.
