W1-Series 12-Inch 300-Watt Subwoofer Driver, 2-Ohm or 4-Ohm SVC
The 12" W1v3 automotive subwoofer driver by JL Audio is a lightweight 12-inch driver with excellent performance capabilities at a moderate 300-Watts. The design of the chassis allows an average mounting depth with no pole-vent on the back side of the magnet so the rear of the motor structure can be placed directly against an enclosure boundary. This 12" subwoofer can reproduce sub-bass with shocking extension and quality.
The JL Audio 12W1v3-2 and 12W1v3-4 subwoofers are best used with an amplifier in the 75W - 300W range and is optimized to operate in a compact 1.10 cu. ft. (31.5 l) sealed enclosure.

With MicroSub+™ systems, the power is built right into the subwoofer system. Housing a proprietary Class D amplifier, this incredible subwoofer system utilizes JL's exclusive DCD™ amplifier technology to extract maximum output from its specially engineered, ultra low-impedance TW1 driver. By combining direct power conversion with an ultra-high current output section, DCD™ amplifiers are free of conventional switching power supplies, enabling them to generate remarkable power with unprecedented efficiency.

Adding an optional RBC-1 remote level control (sold separately) lets you control subwoofer levels directly from the driver’s seat. C1 speakers deliver real substance and great audio performance in a format designed for easy fit behind factory grilles.
To facilitate fit, spacer adaptor rings are included allowing the C1-690tx to be installed in bottom-mount applications.
C1 woofer drivers benefit from proprietary FEA modeling and JL Audio's expertise in low-frequency driver design. This knowledge is used to create speakers that can play loudly, while maintaining a smooth, dynamic, low distortion sound. At the core of the C1-690tx is a proprietary, stamped, steel 6 x 9-inch (150 x 230 mm) oval frame and a DMA-optimized motor system. A mineral-filled, injection-molded polypropylene cone is suspended with a rubber surround on the front, and a carefully engineered flat Conex® spider at the top of the voice coil, to precisely control motion and prevent impact between the voice coil and the back plate. Tinsel leads are carefully routed and attached to the spider to prevent fatigue and buzzing. These are the same kinds of features and materials normally found on much more expensive loudspeakers.
Equipped with dual true, edge-driven, aluminum dome tweeters, the C1-690tx stands apart from others in its category with superior high-frequency clarity and separation. The design of each tweeter delivers inherently excellent off-axis response and high-frequency extension. Both high-frequency drivers also benefit from the damping of silk surround suspensions and Ferrofluid in the voice coil gaps, along with the superior strength of neodymium magnetics. The 6.5-inch (165 mm) format is a direct fit in many vehicles. Multiple mounting patterns are provided on the woofer frame for easy installation into most vehicles that accept a 6.5-inch (165 mm) speaker.

The C2-600x system features 6-inch (150 mm) woofers with mineral-filled polypropylene cones, long excursion capabilities and stamped steel frames. The woofer design benefits from JL Audio's vast woofer design experience and advanced modeling systems.
The 6-inch (150 mm) format is a direct fit in many vehicles. Multiple mounting patterns are provided on the woofer frame for easy installation into most vehicles that accept a 6.5-inch (165 mm) speaker.
Tweeters are coaxially mounted and built with 0.75-inch silk dome diaphragms that deliver smooth, extended response, on and off axis. The small size of the C2 tweeter minimizes tweeter protrusion, allowing C2 coaxials to fit behind most factory speaker grilles.
Woofer grilles are included, each consisting of a black grille tray with satin silver accents and a black steel mesh grille with an electroformed JL Audio logo.

The silk dome tweeter is prized by audiophiles for delivering realistic, non-fatiguing, high-frequency performance.
The C3 component tweeters are built with 1-inch silk dome diaphragms that deliver powerful, extended response, on and off axis. Flush-mounting and surface-mounting fixtures are included to fit a wide variety of installation needs. They can also be installed coaxially onto the C3 woofers using the fixtures included with the C3 Component / Coaxial Systems.
Inline 12 dB / octave high-pass filters with tweeter protectors are included with this kit. The C3-100ct is designed to operate above 4 kHz with a minimum high-pass slope of 12 dB / octave.

This powerful slot-ported BassWedge™ subwoofer system delivers awesome output at an unsurpassed value.
The slot-port runs along the bottom of the enclosure and fires on the same plane as the woofer to produce excellent extension and response smoothness. The port mouth is flared to minimize air-flow noises.

A matching trim panel and sturdy steel-mesh grille are included, so you can carry plenty of gear without worrying about damage. Separate driver and passenger side Stealthbox® models are available, each with 2 or 4 ohm drivers.
The Hard Data: Contains one 10TW1 in a sealed enclosure with 300 watt power handling. Choose from 2 ohm or 4 ohm models, driver or passenger side. Each enclosure installs above one rear wheel well. Black steel mesh grille is included with each.
If vehicle is factory-equipped with Premium Audio, passenger side Stealthbox® installation requires removal of OEM “subwoofer” and purchase of interior trim parts from Jeep®.

Soft-top models: Stealthbox® installation does not interfere with normal top operation, except for the final position where the top mechanism is detached from the rails.

This powerful slot-ported BassWedge™ subwoofer system delivers awesome output at an unsurpassed value.
The slot-port runs along the bottom of the enclosure and fires on the same plane as the woofers to produce excellent extension and response smoothness. The port mouth is flared to minimize air-flow noises.
The ultra-versatile BassWedge™ shape has extended sides so that it can be placed with the woofers firing out or straight down, off the floor of the vehicle. TW1-Series 400-Watt Amplified 10-Inch Ported Subwoofer System
With MicroSub+™ systems, the power is built right into the subwoofer system. Housing a proprietary Class D amplifier, this incredible subwoofer system utilizes JL's exclusive DCD™ amplifier technology to extract maximum output from its specially engineered, ultra low-impedance TW1 driver. By combining direct power conversion with an ultra-high current output section, DCD™ amplifiers are free of conventional switching power supplies, enabling them to generate remarkable power with unprecedented efficiency.
Key to the enclosure’s performance is its efficient slot-ported design and precise tuning of its 10TW1 subwoofer driver. Extensive interior bracing permits the use of thinner wall material that maximizes the enclosure's internal volume relative to its exterior volume. The port wraps around two walls of the enclosure to produce the necessary low tuning frequency that ensures excellent extension and response smoothness. The flared port entry and exit further enhance sound quality by minimizing air-flow noises through the port.
Integration to OEM and aftermarket head units is a snap thanks to a variety of input options and automatic turn-on capability (via signal sensing or DC offset sensing). Also included is a variable frequency low-pass filter (50-200 Hz), along with output polarity control switch. Adding an optional RBC-1 remote level control (sold separately) lets you control subwoofer levels directly from the driver’s seat. A quick-disconnect power connector makes it easy to remove the subwoofer when you need the extra space. As with all MicroSub™ systems, these amplified versions produce the kind of output and extension normally associated with much larger systems.
Note: DCD™ amplified systems use very specific components. Never use a DCD™ amplifier or its companion subwoofer(s) with incompatible, non-DCD™ products. Doing so will void the warranty and may cause severe damage.

JL Audio's patented, chamber-coupled port design (U.S. patent #6,625,292) wraps around the inner enclosure boundary and terminates on one side of the woofer, coupling the port output to the woofer's direct output. C1 speakers deliver real substance and great audio performance in a format designed for easy fit behind factory grilles.
C1 woofer drivers benefit from proprietary FEA modeling and JL Audio's expertise in low-frequency driver design. This knowledge is used to create speakers that can play loudly, while maintaining a smooth, dynamic, low distortion sound. At the core of the C1-525x is a proprietary, stamped, steel 5.25-inch (130 mm) frame and a DMA-optimized motor system. A mineral-filled, injection-molded polypropylene cone is suspended with a rubber surround on the front, and a carefully engineered flat Conex® spider at the top of the voice coil, to precisely control motion and prevent impact between the voice coil and the back plate. Tinsel leads are carefully routed and attached to the spider to prevent fatigue and buzzing. These are the same kinds of features and materials normally found on much more expensive loudspeakers.
Equipped with a true, edge-driven, aluminum dome tweeter, C1 speakers stand further apart from others in its category with superior high-frequency clarity and definition. The tweeter’s design has inherently excellent off-axis response and high-frequency extension. It also benefits from the damping of a silk surround suspension and Ferrofluid in the voice coil gap, along with the superior strength of a neodymium magnet circuit. A true, 2nd order high-pass filter is employed to further enhance smoothness and improve power handling.
