Apple CarPlay requires iPhone 5 or newer with the latest version of iOS.
The AVH-3500NEX also features Android Auto, which extends the Android platform into the car in a way that’s purpose-built for driving. Stay safe and obey local hands-free laws with built-in bluetooth (HFP). Easily pair a bluetooth enabled phone to the AVH-3500NEX without having to go through complicated settings. When a registered bluetooth device is in proximity to the receiver, the auto connection function automatically pairs the two units.
From hands-free calling, wireless audio streaming (A2DP) with artist, album, and song search, simple pairing, and control audio (AVRCP profile), bluetooth wireless technology has made life in the vehicle much more convenient.
The AVH-3500NEX with bluetooth also includes superior call quality reception using Wideband Speech Handsfree Profile 1.6. Wideband Speech nearly doubles the bandwidth of frequencies of a normal Bluetooth call (when compared to calls without Wideband Speech)

A Jeep-specific harness is included with the receiver to take out the guesswork during installation and make it a true plug-and-play solution. The i509-WRA-JK plays Hi-Res music at it's intended spec of 96kHz/24Bit via a wired USB connection to a smartphone or wirelessly through Bluetooth connection. You can also purchase and download Hi-Res music files onto a USB drive from platforms like HDtracks and plug directly into the receiver for Hi-Res playback.
The i509-WRA-JK Works with Apple CarPlay wirelessly and lets iPhone users make and receive calls, access text messages, play music, and get directions in a way that allows them to stay focused on the road. Apple CarPlay® is accessed through the capacitive touchscreen or the mic button to activate Siri voice control and is compatible with iPhone 5 and later.
The i509-WRA-JK includes Android Auto and works with the Google Assistant (requires both a USB cable and Bluetooth connection; requires an Android phone running 5.0 [Lollipop] or higher and the Android Auto app). To access the Google Assistant on Android Auto, say “OK Google” or select the mic button. The i509-WRA-JK has on-board tuning features including a 13-band parametric EQ per channel, for continuous frequency control. The 6-channel time correction ensures that music is staged properly in the front and center of the vehicle. If more power is needed, additional amplifiers can be added using the three sets of true 4V preamp outputs with front, rear, and subwoofer control.
The i509-WRA-JK includes an iDatalink® Maestro module to allow select factory features like voice- activated media player, Bluetooth® technology, and steering wheel controls to be retained and vehicle information displayed on the screen. The iDatalink® can also integrate with the Jeep® diagnostic port so select vehicle information like tire pressure, battery voltage, door status, engine codes, and user-customizable gauges can be monitored on the display.
Whether commuting or off-roading, the i509-WRA-JK includes two camera inputs to add a front, side, or rearview camera (sold separately) and make blind spots a distant memory. The rearview camera includes a distance guide display that overlays guidelines onto the screen for ease when moving in reverse.

The XDM700/5 is ideal for a complete audiophile-grade, subwoofer + four satellite system, and fits comfortably in just about any vehicle or vessel. With this incredible little amplifier, you can drive two pairs of quality component speaker systems with plenty of clean power (75W x 4 @ 4Ω), while also generating a solid 300W of power for a subwoofer system. The technology that makes this much power possible in such a small chassis is JL-Audio's high-speed NexD switching amplifier design.
Suitable for car or boat installations, the XDM700/5 is built with marine-grade materials and features an exclusive, dual-mode input filter for noise-free performance in boats or cars. Automatic turn-on capability (via signal sensing or DC-offset sensing) is also onboard for easy factory system upgrades.
The XDM700/5 includes a 12dB / octave high-pass filter for one main channel pair, a 12dB octave high-pass or bandpass filter for the other main channel pair, plus a variable slope low-pass filter for its subwoofer channel. All three filters offer continuously variable cutoff frequency selection from 50-500Hz. This amplifier's filters can also be configured as a true 3-way crossover, with a low-pass filter for the subwoofer channel, a bandpass filter on Ch. 3 & 4, and a high-pass filter on Ch. 1 & 2. An "x10" multiplier switch on the Ch. 1 & 2 high-pass filter allows its cutoff frequency to be adjusted from 50-500Hz or 500-5000Hz. With the addition of an optional HD-RLC or MHD-RLC (water-resistant) remote level controller (each sold separately), you have the ability to adjust the level of all amplifier channels or just the subwoofer channel directly from the driver's seat or helm.
Finished in a sleek, black powder-coat, all controls are protected beneath a gasketed, removable top cover for easy access.

Once tuning has been completed, installers can password-protect their settings to prevent anyone else from adjusting, and the information is stored for future recall.

This vehicle-specific line output converter features a T-harness that installs quickly and makes it easy for installers to add an amplifier for subwoofers or speakers to a factory radio. It is designed to provide (2) channels of low-level audio output from the factory system, with 55 watts per channel. A Gain Controller is included to adjust overall output, and it is 12v-500mA remote-wire activated with signal sense.

Quickly and seamlessly add aftermarket amplifier(s) for improved audio performance while retaining the factory radio. AmpPRO is a Plug-n-Play solution that plugs into the factory radio harness and provides Front/Rear/Sub RCA outputs (5 Volt RMS) to connect to your aftermarket amplifiers. The AmpPRO design avoids the disappointing results and hassle of interfacing after the factory amplifier.

Lexus RX350 and RX450: Not compatible in models equipped with navigation
In 2018+ models Toyota used three different styles of connectors on the factory radios. In order for the AP4-TY13 to be compatible, the radio must have the 28 / 10-pin new Toyota style connector. Vehicles equipped with the 20-pin BHA8113 or the 10 / 6 pin BHA1761 style connectors are not compatible. The only way to know what connector the radio has is to physically remove it from the dash and look at it. Please see pictures below for reference.

Applications
This product is compatible with data-bus controlled amplified systems only. To identify these systems, look for logos on door speakers, tweeters, dash speakers or the subwoofer to confirm that the vehicle has a compatible amplified system. If you are unsure of your vehicle having an amplified system please contact an authorized Ford service center for further clarification.
2018-2019 Super Duty Trucks can have either Sony or B&O systems to be compatible.
2019+ Mustang must have B&O System to be compatible. If the amp looks like the one pictured, it is compatible. The amp can be found in the driver's kick panel. If the system is amplified and not badged then the AP4 is not compatible as this is a completely analog system.
