For the preceding reasons, the 13W3v3 can be the best choice for those seeking high output with great sound quality at medium power levels.
As with the smaller W3v3's, several exclusive JL Audio technologies and proprietary assembly techniques are applied to the 13W3v3 to enhance linearity and reliability.
The 13W3v3 2Ω or 4Ω model is best used with an amplifier powered in the 150W - 600W range and is optimized to operate in a moderate size 1.5 cu. ft. (42.5 l) sealed enclosure, or a 2.25 cu. ft. (63.7 l) ported enclosure. Detailed enclosure recommendations can be found in the "Specifications" tab.

Many people mistakenly believe that an oval speaker cannot perform as well as a round one, leading to many instances of 5.25-inch speakers being installed into 5 x 7-inch openings. JL Audio has put in the engineering time and effort to create fantastic-sounding speakers that drop into oval openings and deliver equivalent performance to our 6.5-inch (165 mm) round speaker systems... guaranteed. So, don't make the mistake of losing cone area and efficiency by stepping down to a smaller round speaker... these ovals are as impressive as our round format systems.

FiX-86 OEM Integration DSP with Automatic Time Correction and Digital EQ
The FiX™ 86 is a state-of-the-art digital signal processor engineered to deliver outstanding sound from factory source units, while retaining OEM fader control.
Unlike typical OEM interface products, the FiX™ 86 automatically corrects time-delayed factory outputs prior to signal summing and EQ correction. Calibration takes just a single button press and about 30 seconds to complete, with no special equipment needed.
With a powerful 24-bit DSP processor and quad 1/3 octave equalizers onboard, complex factory signals, up to 3-way front and 2-way rear, are combined and level matched automatically into six, full-range stereo signals: Front (fader-controlled), Rear (fader-controlled) and Subwoofer (non-fading, front+rear summed) outputs.
By connecting a PC running TüN™ Software via USB, you can also access a complete suite of diagnostic panels that show the frequency response of input signals, as well as the corrected outputs. Adjustments can be made to input polarity, muting, and filtering, and new calibrations can be initiated from the PC as well. By clicking on the “TUNE” tab of the TüN™ interface, you can also access four, user-adjustable, 10-band, graphic equalizers to fine tune the output signals.
Differential-balanced inputs accept virtually any OEM analog audio signal, from low-voltage, line-level to high-power, amplified speaker-level outputs (up to 30V RMS).
Activation methods include 12-volt or Auto Turn-On (Signal/DC-Offset Sensing) to trigger a dedicated remote turn-on output for aftermarket equipment.
An optional DRC-100 or DRC-200 Digital Remote Controller (sold separately) adds Master Volume Control and/or Subwoofer Level Control from the driver’s seat.

The 12" TW3 thin subwoofer driver by JL Audio offers a shallow mounting depth with an excursion capability that is remarkably capable of greater excursion than JL's W3v3 full size subwoofers.
JL Audio’s TW3 sub utilizes a patented thin-line woofer technology that compresses the architecture of the 12TW3 woofer using a “concentric tube” structure built into the injection-molded cone body. Engineered specifically for powersports applications, the 3-channel MX600/3 amplifier employs JL's high-speed NexD™ switching design to deliver plenty of clean power, without straining charging systems. Its tiny, cast aluminum chassis is highly resistant to corrosion, with an IPX7 water-resistance rating, making it perfect for motorcycles, ATV’s or other utility vehicles.
Generating a solid 75W x 2 into 4 ohms (14.4V, 1% THD), the MX600/3 is the perfect solution for driving a pair of speakers and a subwoofer.

W3-Series 250-Watt Amplified 8-Inch Ported Subwoofer System
With MicroSub+™ systems, the power is built right into the subwoofer system. Housing a proprietary Class D amplifier, this incredible subwoofer system utilizes JL Audio's exclusive DCD™ amplifier technology to extract maximum output from its specially engineered, ultra low-impedance W3v3 driver. By combining direct power conversion with an ultra-high current output section, DCD™ amplifiers are free of conventional switching power supplies, enabling them to generate remarkable power with unprecedented efficiency.
Key to the enclosure’s performance is its efficient slot-ported design and precise tuning of its 8Wv3 subwoofer driver. Extensive interior bracing permits the use of thinner wall material that maximizes the enclosure's internal volume relative to its exterior volume. The port wraps around two walls of the enclosure to produce the necessary low tuning frequency that ensures excellent extension and response smoothness. The flared port entry and exit further enhance sound quality by minimizing air-flow noises through the port.
Integration to OEM and aftermarket head units is a snap thanks to a variety of input options and automatic turn-on capability (via signal sensing or DC offset sensing). Also included is a variable frequency low-pass filter (50-200 Hz), along with output polarity control switch. Adding an optional RBC-1 remote level control (sold separately) lets you control subwoofer levels directly from the driver’s seat. A quick-disconnect power connector makes it easy to remove the subwoofer when you need the extra space. As with all MicroSub™ systems, these amplified versions produce the kind of output and extension normally associated with much larger systems.
Note: DCD™ amplified systems use very specific components. Never use a DCD™ amplifier or its companion subwoofer(s) with incompatible, non-DCD™ products. Doing so will void the warranty and may cause severe damage.

C7-Series 3.5-Inch 100-Watt Component Midrange Speaker with Grille
C7 is the pinnacle of JL Audio automotive loudspeaker design, benefiting from their most advanced development tools and a complete commitment to precision manufacturing.
The C7-350cm component midrange is designed to operate in a 3-way system, with a woofer and tweeter. Conceived and purpose-built from the ground up, it offers exceptional transient response and outstanding linearity, resulting in unsurpassed clarity and natural mid-range reproduction. Distortion and non-linearities have been minimized through critical optimization of dynamic motor and suspension behaviors.
Passive crossover networks are not included with C7 drivers, as they are designed for active systems. Instead, we recommend a high-quality tuning DSP, such as the JL Audio TwK™ 88 or D8, and a dedicated amplifier channel for each C7 loudspeaker in the system. Precise setup of equalization, delay and crossover filters will ensure optimal in-vehicle performance.
C7-350cm Design Notes:Cone and Dust Cap: Vacuum-formed, mineral-filled polypropylene material offers excellent damping and low mass. The cone body features a gentle curvilinear profile to optimize response. A concave dust cap further improves high frequency behavior.
Suspension design: The moving assembly is suspended and damped via a linear profile spider formed from a Nomex®/polycotton blend, and a positive-roll, rubber surround. The two combine to provide optimum damping without prematurely restricting excursion.
Motor Design: The C7-350cm employs a high-density magnetic circuit with a high-grade, neodymium magnet, and a specially machined, U-Yoke motor topology. Motor magnetics have been precisely optimized utilizing advanced FEA tools to reduce distortion and provide linear motor force throughout the driver's performance range.
A 36 mm (1.42 inch) diameter, overhung voice coil is employed, wound with copper-clad aluminum wire onto a fiberglass voice coil former. The oversized voice coil offers extended power handling capability, minimizing thermal compression and distortion at higher listening levels.

JL Audio's patented High Output Enclosures are designed to deliver the ultimate high-performance bass experience with a rare combination of superb sound quality and awesome output.
JL Audio's patented, chamber-coupled port design (U.S. patent #6,625,292) wraps around the inner enclosure boundary and terminates on one side of the woofer, coupling the port output to the woofer's direct output. This also provides the necessary surface area and port length to maximize the performance of the W3v3 driver.
This enclosure design has been carefully engineered to the optimum ported alignment for the 10W3v3, and has been fine-tuned through extensive real-world listening. This efficient system will produce superb output with as little as 150W of amplifier power, but performs best with 300 - 500W of power.
This subwoofer system is shipped wired, loaded and ready to connect via a five-way binding post terminal. Three solid aluminum bars provide stylish and rugged woofer protection.
The angled-back design saves precious cargo space by allowing the enclosure to fit tightly against the back of a vehicle's rear seat.

RD-Series 1500-Watt Monoblock Class-D Subwoofer Amplifier @ 2-Ohms
Engineered for high-power, subwoofer applications, the RD1500/1 monoblock amplifier is built to deliver staggering amounts of world-class bass output. Equipped with a special low impedance circuit, the RD1500/1 is capable of generating a whopping 1500 watts of output power, at either 1 or 2 ohms (14.4V, 1% THD). At the heart of this ultra-sleek and compact power plant is JL Audio’s exclusive NexD™ Class D technology, permitting high power output with exceptional efficiency and low distortion.
For your convenience, all of the RD1500/1’s controls are located on top of the amplifier, beneath a protective cover, with all connections found along one side of its chassis. Signal processing features include a 12 dB / octave low-pass filter, with continuously variable frequency selection from 50-500 Hz, and a variable bass boost EQ. Dual-range, differential-balance inputs are also onboard, capable of accepting most input voltage levels. Automatic turn-on capability (via signal sensing or DC-offset sensing) is standard, along with a set of preamp outputs so you can easily pass signals to another amplifier.
The RD1500/1 is also equipped with an onboard LED-clipping indicator. This all-new, innovative feature lets you easily set your amplifier’s input sensitivity setting, quickly and accurately, with no special equipment needed. The RD1500/1 features a durable, black powder-coated finish and a top-mounted, dual-color LED light strip that reports the overall status and condition. Control of the subwoofer level from the driver’s seat is easily accomplished with the addition of the optional RBC-1 remote level control (sold separately).

C7-Series 6.5-Inch 125-Watt Component Woofer with Grille
C7 is the pinnacle of JL Audio automotive loudspeaker design, benefiting from their most advanced development tools and a complete commitment to precision manufacturing.
The C7-650cw component woofer is capable of operating in a 3-way system, with a midrange and tweeter, or with only a tweeter in a 2-way configuration. Engineered from the ground up, it has exceptional linear excursion capability and outstanding linearity, resulting in solid mid-bass and pure, precise, mid-range performance. Distortion and non-linearities have been minimized through critical optimization of dynamic motor and suspension behaviors.
Passive crossover networks are not included with C7 drivers, as they are designed for active systems. Instead, we recommend a high-quality tuning DSP, such as the JL Audio TwK™ 88 or D8, and a dedicated amplifier channel for each C7 loudspeaker in the system. Precise setup of equalization, delay and crossover filters will ensure optimal in-vehicle performance.
C7-650cw Design Notes:Cone and Dust Cap: Vacuum-formed, mineral-filled polypropylene material offers excellent damping and low mass. The cone body features a gentle curvilinear profile to optimize response. A specially shaped dust cap attaches to the cone body and the voice coil former to improve high frequency behavior.
Suspension design: The moving assembly is suspended and damped via a large-diameter, linear profile spider formed from a Nomex®/polycotton blend, and a positive-roll, rubber surround. The two combine to provide optimum damping without prematurely restricting the C7-650cw's outstanding excursion capability.
Motor Design: The C7-650cw employs a high-density magnetic circuit with a high-grade Y35 Strontium-ferrite magnet, and a specially machined, T-Yoke motor topology. Motor magnetics have been precisely optimized utilizing advanced FEA tools to reduce distortion and provide linear motor force throughout the driver's performance range.
A 32 mm (1.27 inch) diameter, overhung voice coil is employed, wound with copper wire onto a fiberglass voice coil former. The oversized voice coil offers extended power handling capability, minimizing thermal compression and distortion at higher listening levels. Chassis Design: A purpose-engineered cast alloy basket is employed, featuring thin spokes to maximize rear open area, and our Patented Elevated Frame Cooling technology.

Housing a proprietary Class D amplifier, this subwoofer system employs JL's exclusive DCD™ amplifier technology to extract maximum output from its specially engineered, ultra low-impedance TW1 driver. By combining direct power conversion with an ultra-high current output section, DCD™ amplifiers are free of conventional switching power supplies, enabling them to generate remarkable power with unprecedented efficiency.
Harnessing the performance and insanely small box requirements of the TW1 subwoofer driver, this subwoofer system is designed to deliver amazing sub-bass from an enclosure that is only 5 inches (127 mm) deep. Its low-profile enclosure design has been carefully engineered to the optimum sealed enclosure alignment for the 10TW1 driver and has been fine-tuned through extensive real-world listening.
Integration to OEM and aftermarket head units is a snap thanks to a variety of input options and automatic turn-on capability (via signal sensing or DC offset sensing). Also included is a variable frequency low-pass filter (50-200 Hz), along with output polarity control switch. Adding an optional RBC-1 remote level control (sold separately) lets you control subwoofer levels directly from the driver’s seat. A quick-disconnect power connector makes it easy to remove the subwoofer when you need the extra space.

Intended specifically for subwoofer applications, the XDM1000/1 includes a variable slope low-pass filter with continuously variable cutoff frequency selection from 50-500Hz and a defeatable infrasonic filter (30Hz, 24dB/oct.). With the addition of an optional HD-RLC or MHD-RLC (water-resistant) remote level controller (each sold separately), the amplifier's level can be adjusted directly from the driver's seat or captain’s chair.
Finished in a sleek, black powder-coat, all controls are protected beneath a gasketed, removable top cover for easy access.

The JL Audio 13.5" TW5v2 thin subwoofer driver uses a chassis with a “concentric tube” structure that supports the 7-inch diameter voice coil and the suspension attachments. This permits placement of the large motor structure much further forward in the subwoofer chassis than with conventional thin sub designs, while allowing excellent linear excursion capability and mechanical stability.
The 13TW5v2 improves upon the original 13-Inch TW5 driver with 13% greater linear excursion capability. The cast alloy chassis has also been modified for greater strength and the redesigned motor now features an annular vent. The v2 is available in single 2-ohm and single 4-ohm voice coil configurations.
In keeping with its “tight-spaces” mission, the 13TW5v2 is optimized for enclosures that are far smaller than most 12-inch woofers require and only a bit larger than the air space needs of a typical, small-box 12-inch woofer. The mounting system is designed to fit in about the same footprint as a typical 12-inch woofer.
The JL Audio 13TW5v2-2 and the 13TW5v2-4 thin subwoofers are best used with amplifier power in the 250-Watt - 600-Watt range and is optimized to operate in a 0.80 cu. ft. (22.7 l) sealed enclosure.

The XDM700/5 is ideal for a complete audiophile-grade, subwoofer + four satellite system, and fits comfortably in just about any vehicle or vessel. HD-Series Monoblock Class-D Wide-Range Amplifier, 750-Watts x 1ch @ 1.5-4-Ohms
This ultra-compact monoblock amplifier employs JL's Single-Cycle Control switching design and R.I.P.S. technology to deliver 750W of clean power into any impedance between 1.5 and 4Ω, giving you the highest degree of flexibility in designing your subwoofer system. Tight power supply regulation keeps distortion down and maximizes your bass quality. From a pure sound quality perspective, JL invites you to compare the real-world, in-car performance of this amplifier to any other amplifier on the market, of any type, at any price.
While targeted primarily to subwoofer applications, the HD750/1 is a wide-range amplifier and can also be used to drive high-performance mid-range speaker systems.
This amplifier features a brushed aluminum finish with black powder-coated cast alloy heat sinks and bottom panel. A black powder-coated, gasketed cover is also provided to protect the controls.

This generation of GM's big trucks and SUV's sets new standards for interior quality and luxury. There also isn't much wasted space in which to install a conventional subwoofer design without giving up cargo and people space.
JL's Stealthbox® solution installs inside the forward section of the factory center console for complete invisibility. Intense, up-front bass is produced by a down-firing 10-inch subwoofer in a sealed enclosure. The console's functionality and storage space is unaffected by the Stealthbox®.
The Hard Data: Contains one 10W1v3-2 in a sealed enclosure. 300 watt power handling. Wired for 2 ohm mono. Stealthbox® installs inside forward-most portion of front center console and replaces the OEM “subwoofer” system, if vehicle is so equipped. Will not fit Trucks with AC vents on the back of the center console or vehicles with deep storage area in front of cup holders.
